OUR MISSION

At the International Institute for the Study of Extremely Questionable Creatures, our mission is to inspire curiosity, encourage careful observation, and celebrate the remarkable creatures that share our world.

Through stories, science, humour and investigation, we invite Junior Researchers of all ages to ask questions, gather evidence, think critically, and discover that the real world is often every bit as extraordinary as fiction.

Because every great discovery begins with a single question…

“What if?”

Observe. Question. Imagine. Investigate.

THE INSTITUTE EXISTS TO:

Observe the unusual.

Investigate the unexplained.

Encourage curiosity.

Separate fact from fiction.

Protect remarkable real creatures.

Celebrate ridiculous imaginary ones.

Train the next generation of Junior Researchers.

OUR MOTTO:

Observe. Question. Imagine. Investigate.

“Every great discovery begins with someone noticing something unusual.”

OFFICIAL WARNING:

Not every creature is real.

Not every witness is reliable.

Not every researcher remembers to bring lunch.

Proceed accordingly.

TYPE OF INSTITUTION:

Independent.

Entirely funded by curiosity.

Current Staff:

(expected back any day now).
